The 18 hole, par 72, desert style championship golf courseis located in the heart of Taba Heights, between the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea and the majestic Sinai mountain range.

The course is well suited to challenge golfers of all levels, with many target fairways and approach shots over lakes, flood canals and well surrounded desert green complexes.

Taba Heights' golf course is easily accessible from all the resort's hotels and a complimentary shuttle bus runs between the hotels, dive centre and golf course throughout the day.

Sharm el Sheikh's only golf course is located 10 minutes from the International airport and Naama Bay, in the grounds of the 5L Maritim Jolie Ville Golf Resort.

The Par 72 PGA Championship golf course (6021m) has matured to be one of the best in the world. Opened in 1997 and designed by American architect Sanford & Associates, the course features Bermuda grass and 18 man-made lakes, which attract a variety of exotic birds, of which 9 kinds belong to the endangered species list. 1250 Trees have been planted around the course, including Washingtonia palm trees, Jerusalem thorns, date palms, California fan palms, Hong Kong orchids and Flames of the Forest.

There are 4 sets of tees to choose from, and a double-ended practice centre which is home to the famous Jolie Ville International Golf Academy, where you can learn the latest winning techniques. A variety of programmes using the most advanced teaching methods are available, in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. No handicap is required to play. The instructors are glad to pass on their extensive knowledge and experience of the game to help you develop into a more confident and composed player.

The best features of the course are the large tiff-dwarf (grassed) greens. The green is the most preferred on the P.G.A. Tour. Each green is identical in cut and speed, 8.5 on the stimp meter to give you the perfect, consistent speed that holds the line every time. The lakes are inter-disbursed to force play to golf's truest test, the "risk or reward" factor. The cooling waters shimmer in the refreshing breezes that prevail all season.
