Golf
Please note that soft spikes are a requirement at the majority of golf clubs in all our destinations.

Course Conditions
Fairway Golf Holidays cannot be held responsible for the actual playing conditions of the golf courses whether as a result of maintenance or adverse weather conditions.

Golf Clubs
The majority of airlines are now charging for the carriage of golf clubs. This is payable at the check in desk.

Handicap Certificates
Prior to playing some clubs will insist on checking your handicap certificate. Please therefore obtain this prior to travelling and carry it in your golf bag in the event of it being requested. Should any golf club request your handicap details we will pass these on as advised by you, however you may be asked to show the documentation.

Tee Times
Upon receiving your requested tee times we will confirm these to you in writing. Any changes made by you following confirmation we reserve the right to charge an amendment fee.

Please note that clubs reserve the right to make matches up to four balls particularly during peak season and busy periods.

Visas & Passports
Passports should be required for six months following the return of your holiday.

Visa's are required for UK nationals and purchased upon entry into Turkey at a cost of £10.00 sterling per person. We advise you to have the correct money, as change is rarely available.

Non UK nationals we advise you to check with either your own Consulate or the Turkish Tourist Office in London on 0207 355 4207.

Currency
Although Turkey is presently not in the European Community, Euros are widely accepted and in the majority of cases it is preferred. We therefore strongly advise that you purchase Euros rather than Turkish Lire.

Health and Safety
At the time of going to print there are no mandatory inoculations required for any of our destinations. We suggest that you consult your Doctor prior to travel for any up to date changes that may occur.

Airline regulations do not permit women over 28 weeks of pregnancy to fly without a fitness certificate and they must have returned by 32 weeks.

Deep Vein Thrombosis is a serious medical condition involving blood clots in the legs, which travel around the body causing serious illness and on rare occasions death. A way to reduce the risk is to refrain from alcoholic drinks, maintain regular movements of legs and feet and if possible, a walk up and down the aisle in the plane. We advise you to contact your doctor prior to travelling should this be a concern.

Your personal safety and also of your belonging should be of prime importance to you. As in the UK, should you be involved in an incident or accident of any description to enable you to make an insurance claim, you will require to have a Police report.
