Northern Cyprus - Heart of the Med

Located at the crossroads of three continents, North Cyprus enjoys a juicy location in the Med’s warmer climes, making it the ideal getaway for every season. It’s also a much more relaxed and peaceful alternative to many of Europe’s crowded resorts, without any of the hassle or cost of longer-haul flights - and being outside the Euro zone it offers great value too – something of a rarity these days in the Med.

Many visitors to North Cyprus stay in Kyrenia on the north coast, with its idyllic crescent-shaped Venetian harbour fringed with charming fish restaurants and cafes, or in Gazimagusa (Famagusta) on the East coast, where miles of unspoilt sandy bays and a fascinating old town make it a fantastic spot for summer holidays.

Owing to a rich and colourful history, North Cyprus is bursting with intriguing antiquity and a rich cultural history - whilst the island’s more recent British influence means English is still widely spoken, driving is on the left and British plug sockets remain the norm. Everywhere you travel, you will also enjoy the warm welcome of Turkish Cypriot hospitality – the reason for its rightly deserved reputation as heart of the Med.
